(FMP) recently conducted its 2010 FOTON Mid-Year Dealer’s Conference at Lancaster Hotel, Mandaluyong City last August 5-6, 2010. The said conference was well attended by principal leaders and senior executives of twelve (12) dealerships nationwide and the chief representatives of FOTON Motor Phils. Head Office.
During the conference, the participants were able venerate the collective accomplishments of the dealer network and FMP, as a distributor, in creating a stronger brand recognition that is perceived to be setting a new benchmark in the Chinese-brand automobile business in the country, to date. To further strengthen FOTON’s presence in the market, FMP presented its second semester plans and initiatives that are focused in sales and marketing, customer satisfaction and after-sales service support. For the rest of the year, FMP aims to break new grounds in providing its customers with only the best, not only in quality but in affordability, as well.

 Ford Group Philippines unveiled their newest bundle of joy last Monday, August 16, 2010, at the One Esplanade in Pasay City. Though not yet scheduled to arrive in the country until October of this year, Ford gave a reason to celebrate early with the 2010 the Ford Fiesta. This is Ford’s first entry into the Philippine subcompact car market and the Fiesta is prepared will take its competitors head-on.
“The arrival of the Ford Fiesta in the Philippines marks yet another milestone for us as we reveal the first product under One Ford in the Philippines and focus on delivering great products, building a strong business, and contributing to a better world," says Randy Krieger, Ford Group Philippines President. “Today we launch the vehicle that will change the way our customer see and feel the Ford difference. With its irresistibly stylish design, first-in-class technological features and drive quality, extensive levels of safety and enduring value, the Ford Fiesta is testament to our commitment to offer only the best.”
The Fiesta will be available as a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback. It will be powered by a 94 horsepower 1.4L 16-valve Duratec 4 cylinder engine connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. Or you can opt for a larger more powerful 120 horsepower Twin independent – Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) 1.6L Duratec 4 cylinder engine that’s equipped with the new 6-speed dual-clutch PowerShift automatic transmission. |
