Apparently, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. is pushing through with plans on importing the Veloster. This three-door coupe has found its way onto our shores via grey importers. Any ideas how much the grey imported units are?

Anyhoo. This is no sports car. In fact, it runs on the same 1.6L Gamma engine as the Accent and Elantra. I really do hope Hyundai gives this car a bigger engine.

The 1.6 is a good engine... But the 1.8 would definitely be more fitting for is car.

Pretty much. Four-door, actually... sort of like the Clubman, it has an extra door on one side.

AFAIK - it's 1.5M for the 1.6L grey-market variant. Not much bang for the buck there. Zzzzz.

A base model Genesis Coupe (HARI) is better priced though.

Still... there are those willing to pay the price to look different...

You think HARI will price this lower than the grey importers?

P1.5M for a 4door 1.6L "hatch" is simply too much.
