Toyota will build rebadged Mazda 2s in Mexico by 2015

Though they're both Japanese, Toyota and Mazda shares absolutely nothing in common... until now. The two automakers came together earlier this month to announce a new partnership that will see Mazda Motor Corporation build cars for Toyota USA at their new plant in Mexico.
While Mazda Motor Manufacturing de Mexico is still under construction, it should start production within the year. And when it does, it'll be building Mazda 2s and Mazda 3s at a rate of 140,000 units per year until March of 2014. After that, the production line will then switch over to manufacturing a new sub-compact Toyota that's based on the Mazda 2 starting on the summer of 2015.

Mazda guarantees spare parts in 24 hours, or its FREE
Following in Ford's footsteps, Mazda Philippines now offers the 24-hour Parts Guarantee for loving owners of the Mazda 2, Mazda 3, and Mazda CX-7. This means that, if any of their 65 genuine parts for repair and maintenance don't make it in your hands, or in your car’s for that matter, within 24 hours, you get them replaced for FREE.
But hold your horses, smarty pants! The program only covers spare parts that fall within six essential groups - scheduled service maintenance, brake parts, suspension and steering, electrical and air conditioning, powertrain, and body and collision. These are components that wear over time or regularly need replacement, so don't go barging into a Mazda dealership demanding for parts that the average person won't break.

Holy Week is a yearly holiday all Christians around the world observe as it commemorates our Lord and savior Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. Filipinos pay tribute to this momentous occasion by means of traditions passed down through generations. And for people like me who are weary from long busy workweeks, Holy Week translates to a four-day long weekend earmarked for some well-deserved R&R.
As much as I would want to spend the entire four days on a beach, soaking up the sun with matching cold tropical drink in hand, I’m still recuperating from the post-financial trauma I sustained during Christmas and Valentines Day. So the only thing I could afford at the moment was a leisurely out-of-town day trip with my significant other.
