Petron announces winners of “Blaze Your Way to the Grand Prix”
Back in July, Petron kicked-off a promo that will give four lucky trill-seekers the chance to watch the Singapore and Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix live. One can get a raffle ticket simply by gassing up at Petron with their MasterCard. And now that the contest has come to an end, Petron is proud to announce the winners of the “Blaze Your Way to the Grand Prix” promo.
The first grand draw was held last August 24, 2012, and packing their bags for the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix this Sunday, September 23 are Albert Lim from Pasig City and Raymundo de Leon from Marikina. The FREE trip they've won is inclusive of round-trip air fare, 4 days 3 nights hotel accommodation, 3-days Marina Bay Grandstand race tickets, a Universal Studios day pass, travel insurance, and an F1 survival kit.

The winners of Everyone's Vision Petron 2012 Student Art Competition
Themed “Lakbay Alalay Para Sa Kalikasan - A Journey of Nurturing Nature,” the 2012 Everyone's Vision Petron Student Art Competition focused on the different ways of caring for and protecting the environment, such as Petron's efforts to protect biodiversity through coastal management, reforestation, mangrove planting, creating fish sanctuaries and artificial reefs, and protecting sea turtles.
This year's competition collected a record-breaking 1,700 entries in three categories: Painting (oil, acrylic, and water-based media); Photography, and Printmaking. And to serve as judges, Petron invited three National Artists - Benedicto Cabrera, Napoleon Abueva, and Abdulmari Imao - along with Wig Tysmans for the photography category and Raul Isidro for the printmaking category.
Awarded in a ceremony held last August 30, 2012 at the Diamond Hotel in Manila, here are this year's Everyone's Vision Petron winners.

Goodyear's 2012 Bayani ng Kalsada now accepting nominations
Strengthening their commitment to road safety, Goodyear is once again accepting nominations for the 2012 edition of their Bayani ng Kalsada campaign - a social program that recognizes courageous acts of service and random acts of kindness from everyday Filipino motorists.
Now on its sixth year, the 2012 Goodyear Bayani ng Kalsada runs from August to November 30, 2012, and nomination forms are available in all Goodyear Servitek, Goodyear Autocare, and TyrePro stores nationwide. As in previous years, a dedicated search committee will actively be on the lookout for road heroes all over the country. But of course, everyone is also encouraged to nominate their own road heroes - a local driver who have gone out of his or her way to secure the safety of someone in need.
