The new looks are, how shall we put it, rather “Aston”-ishing. The lines are razor sharp, as well they should be, given the headlamps are laser-cut. Those Daytime Running Light (DRL) equipped headlights frame a new grille and a “power-dome” hood. Under that hood is nestled Ford’s 1.0 EcoBoost, a 1.0 liter engine promising exceptional fuel economy and power on par with a 1.6L. While Ford promises that this new Fiesta will make its way here, specs and delivery dates have not yet been finalized.
The wait will be excruciating. The Fiesta has been a revolutionary product for Ford, introducing technology and features to first-time car buyers that were once the domain of luxury cars. Since 1976, Ford has sold over 15 million Fiestas. If they keep churning out cars like this, it might not take too long for them to sell 15 million more.
