Rent a huge ass air-conditioned tent in the heart to Alabang, of course! This way, all visitors can bask not in the heat, but in the passion of everything BMW.
Bimmerfest X, the 10th annual all-BMW car show hosted by the BMW Car Club of the Philippines (BMWCCP), sizzled last May 4, 2013 at the Filinvest Tent in Alabang. And doing what they do best, this year's show focused on BMW's two most famous tag lines: “The Ultimate Driving Machine” and “Joy.”

It was only a month ago when the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) began implementing a new number coding scheme for brand new vehicles. Memorandum Circular No. 06 entitled “Guidelines in the implementation of the UVVRP for new vehicles without license plates but with conduction stickers” required new car owners, specifically those who have yet to be issued plates by the LTO, to prominent display the conduction sticker number “on spaces allotted for regular license plates in front and at the rear of the vehicle.”
The problem was, the MMDA simply wanted car owners to copy the conduction sticker number on a piece of card board and place it on the plate number holder. So unless you've got serious art skills, chances are, your home made temporary plate will look like a preschooler's art project and so will your brand new ride.
Luckily, new Volvo owners won't have to go through this trouble. That's because Volvo Philippines is providing them with specially-made conduction plates until the LTO issues them license plates.

Honda previews upcoming CR-Z by going on a road tour
At last, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is really to bring the CR-Z here. Deliveries, however, are not expected to arrive until August. So what they're doing to help pre-sell their new two-door hybrid sports coupe is to take it on a road tour. The CR-Z will make a total of nine stops across Honda dealerships in Metro Manila. But do care to note that they'll display the CR-Z Mugen Concept previewed at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) last year, not the latest 2013-spec CR-Z that's on sale.
Available in six variants, HCPI began pre-selling the CR-Z last April 26, 2013 on a “first come, first serve” delivery basis. That means, if you put in your reservation on the 1st week of May, you're assured to be one of the first few to get a brand-new CR-Z by August.

If you're driving a brand new car with no plate numbers, you definitely need to listen up. At last, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has responded to the Global Airbag Recall fiasco that has also affected Nissan, Honda, and Mazda. They just announced that an estimated 3,500 units of the Toyota Corolla Altis sold locally might be affected by the global recall that's caused by a faulty passenger airbag.
Affected units are said to be assembled between May 11, 2001 and March 31, 2003 only, but they can't pinpoint exactly which ones were equipped with these faulty airbags. That means customers whose vehicles fall within the said production date should visit an authorized Toyota dealership nationwide to have it checked. And if found defective, Toyota will replace the part at no cost to the customer.

You might not have heard of them before, but Aeolus Tires have actually been around since the 60's. Well, in China at least where its headquarters is based.
