Variety is an understatement when it comes to describing the array of cars, trucks, and SUV's that were on display. There were apparent daily-drivers mixed in with full-on track machines, and even battle-tested rock-crawling 4x4's. Classic cars were also in abundance, ranging from vintage Euros to fully-restored American muscle. This year’s lineup was surely one to be remembered.
Some of the most stunning rides on display made their mark on show's floor: JSK Custom Paint and Autoworks’ 1997 Freddy vs. Jason-themed Astro Van was loud not only in graphics, but also with its eardrum-busting Phoenix Gold limited edition audio setup. And despite their 30-year age gap, JGTC Motorsports' 2009 Nissan GTR and JSK’s 1979 Porsche 911 looked equally menacing. Going strong, the star of the show was yet another entry from JSK; their bright-yellow 2011 Honda Civic FD won Best of Show Custom Car.
Though it was tough to tell the crowd favorites, the best on four-wheels at the 2011 Manila Auto Salon deservingly took home all the hardware and accolades.
